C-1 Clutch Boot

In an earlier post it was mentioned that no C-1 had a clutch boot. I am doing a 59 and did buy and install the leather clutch fork boot. Am I wrong? Thanks

The leather clutch fork boot for C1's was "invented" by the parts houses; C1's never had a boot from the factory.
