In the current 1958-60 Judging Manual, it says in Section 17(Trunk Section -Fiberglass, Paint and Paint Margin)that 1958 and early 1959 trunks were painted interior color.(eg. black interior = black painted trunk) Remainder of 1959 through 1960 were painted exterior body color. (eg. black interior = red painted trunk on a red car). This seems to conflict with the information chart at the back of the manual under "Exterior Color and Trim Combination". It says under the heading "Interior Trim & Trunk Interior" that my Honduras Maroon 1960 trunk should be black. I have an early 1960 that is Honduras Maroon, and the only interior color was black, thus I would have a black trunk mat. On one hand it says that my trunk interior should be maroon and on the chart in the back it says that it should be black. Which one is correct? Or does the word "Trim" just mean trunk mat? What about the cardboard trunk liner, should this be black also, or maroon, as I am not sure if this is considered "trim". I am really confused.
Thanks!
