    C1 Cardboard Seat Tags

I still have the original 1" x 3" embossed cardboard seat spring tags that were on my '59. I have since had the seats redone. The two tags read, in about 1/4" tall embossed letters: "MSWBP 12 8 58 F A9-1114-F1 3761741-11" (3761742 on the other one) (on three separate lines) Questions:

-Are these tags required for judging? There's no mention of them in the JM
-What can anyone tell me about the tags and the information on them?

    Thanks,
    Brad

The GM part numbers identify the finished (trimmed) seat cushion and back assemblies; Chevrolet purchased the complete finished cushion and back assemblies outside (Findlay Industries, as I recall) and they were shipped to St. Louis ready to install on the seat frames.
