    '65 PB Booster

OK, I seam to have lost power to my brakes, what should the vacuum be for the booster? From the intake how much vacuum? Also, if the rod coming out of my booster is supposed to be adjustable, where can I find a correct rod for the booster that is adjustable?

The booster runs off manifold vacuum, so you should have about14 inches of vacuum under most circumstances and the check valve at the booster will relain enough vacuum for about i stop with power. Are you having trouble with the engine running? You will have to talk to a brake booster specialist to get the proper rod, unless other GM vehicles used a similar part, which is a possibility.
