    Therm Housing

What was the original thermostat housing (part #) for a 66 427/435? Cast or alum?

    Dave-----

I assume that you mean a 1966 427/425 (L-72) since there was no 435 used for the 1966 model year. That thermostat housing was a die cast aluminm housing of GM #3877660. The same housing was also used for 1967 427/435 (L-71) and most other 1966 through 1972 Corvette applications.
