Any source in Detroit area to de rust some metal parts? I cannot find either redi-strip or chem strip.

We used a company for dipping out near Romulus.. If you need name, I will try and find out in files...

The outfit in Romulus has changed hands (and names) in the last year; it's now called "Ready-Coat", and they do stripping and e-coating. (734) 771-3190, ask for Mark

Chris,

Depending on the size of the parts, to can do this yourself with muratic acid and a couple of 5 gallon buckets.

If you check the archives (or Google) you can probably unearth some good info. If you can't come up with it let me know. I'll search and try to help as well.

I have used Ace Stripping in Hazel Park (I think)and they were very good and reasonably priced. Hope this helps.
