Hello,
I'm in the process of restoring my 66 conv midyear vent window frames and rubber. It all started because I wanted to rebuild the regulators. One thing lead to another after rechroming and here I am. My question is when installing the vent frame weathestripping (the V shaped ones), what is the proper way to push it into the channel? Do those pesky little metal spring clips need to be pressed in?
I didn't want to jam it in with a screwdriver for fear of damaging them so they leak. Your help is much appreciated. By the way Danchuk in CA is selling all of its Corvette inventory at cost. Some good items still left! I'm not affiliated with them in any ways.
Thanks in advance for all of you help
