Ignition coil id & capacitor questions

I have a Delco Remy brand coil with 293 BR stamped on it. What does this belong to? I currently have this on my '72 LT-1, but looking at the Info & Judging guide...it doen't go on any 70-72 Corvettes.
Also, I found that the capacitor on the coil bracket that I found disconnected. I guess this explains why my radio reception has been poor. Where do I connect it?

    Thanks,
    Tony

Re: Ignition coil id & capacitor questions

    Tony -

I show the "293" coil as the standard coil on '69 Camaro V-8; it may have other usages as well, but not on Corvettes. The radio suppression capacitor has no effect on radio reception - only for ignition noise suppression on the AM band.
