If you have access to Dupont paints, they have the forumla.

Lars: i have 55 vin 416 and just got the what i consider the correct shade of Corvette Copper # 573 mixed. Call craig Swartout @ 1 440 564 5794 for details. mike

A DuPont bulletin dated June 14, 1955

notes that a Chevy Sales folder has assigned a new name to DuPont stock # 2187-H, 260-59158-H Bronze and that new name is CORVETTE COPPER. The bulletin then notes:

"Incidentally, the paper chip affixed to the aorementioned

'Spring Color' folder is not exactly representative of the

standard shade of this color - it is brown and lacks red-tone and

metallic brilliance compared to standard.".

It would appear that those mixing to agree with the original chip would do so at their own risk - and be wrong.
