Never entered my mind to be an adversary. I should be the one asking "FRIENDS"?

Does not hurt the soul to have a spirited discussion.

Just curious, does anyone know the diameter of the fiber strand (i.e. 62.5um to 125um). Glass, plastics, fiber glass optics can be spliced. We use these clever little expoyless splices that butt splice two fibers together. They are reusable in case the cleave or polish was not good and they have index matching gel inside to insure positive light transmittal. All you do is insert the two fibers in and pinch the two clips down. I just need to know the fiber diameter for the right size. If anyone is interested in trying one let me know and I'll mail you one so all will know if they work or not.

                  Re: Body Lift - References

                  Bob,

Nolan Adams has a good video and info on body lifts, even though it's shown with mid-years. I have several books myself for all kinds of 68 and up work but haven't paid much attention to "shark" body lifts, since I haven't had to do that.

Sorry Bob, but I usually try to limit myself to the "been-there, done that", personal experiences I've had and don't risk giving out poor or half-advice. Since I haven't lifted 68 and up bodies, and am only half way there on a 67 I have, then this is probably a good stopping point for me. Tom #24014

                    Gary-----

The part you seek was GM #5460895. Unfortunately, it's been GM-discontinued for many years. Dr. Rebuild used to have some NOS examples of these available for sale, but I don't know if he still does. You might check with him, though. Don't expect it to be inexpensive.
