67 glove box liner

The globe box liner I have is in very good shape, but it is faded. Does anyone have any ideas for restoring the black color to it?

I would think that a judicious application of black interior spray "dye" would do the trick. The same stuff used to finish interior components that are supplied in only one color and require "paint to match".
