Re: What a mix match of parts I have...
Chuck-----
All the numbers (except the right side exhaust manifold) and dates would work for a 1966 Corvette. Even though the heads are of different casting numbers, given the fact that (1) they are functionally equivalent, (2) March/April was the "changeover" period and, (3) the engine was built in early April, 1966, they could both have been installed on the same engine at Flint Engine.
What is the VIN derivative, if any, on the stamp pad?In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

The car is a 64. The engine stamp pad has no VIN, only F04I2HCH.- Top

Re: VIN deriv. not on Pass Cars?
Tom-----
I thought that by 1966 passenger cars had the VIN derivative on all engines. Earlier, they had them only for engines of 300 hp and greater. Perhaps, the "300 hp and greater" rule included 1966. If so, since this engine was a 275 hp, it wouldn't "qualify".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
