    C1 T-10

Hi everyone, I just installed my correct T-10 into my 59 corvette. In the process of installing shifter & linkage onto tranny, I must have got 2 gears stuck together. When I was tightening the 1 / 2 gear linkage the wrench caused it to go into second gear. I believe at the time the tranny was in reverse. I was able to get out of reverse, but the 1 / 2 gear lever appears to be stuck in second. I am trying to dis-lodge from under car and not use the shifter. Is there a way to un-stick this without damage to gears and internals of tranny? I am afraid to put to much tension on it. Any thoughts or ideas would greatly be appriciated, thanks in advance Scott # 40610

    Scott-----

First, remove the linkage rods. Then, return the transmission to the neutral position with BOTH the 1/2 and 3/4 shifter shafts in the neutral position. Then, start over again installing the rods.
