    C1 HOOD SUPPORT

    Are there any part numbers or markings on a hood support for a 61? I do not have anything on mine and was wondering if it was original. Thanks, Joe DeLuca #37862

          53 to 57 Corvette I have had said on the out side, and on my 55 Corvette=
          (Ternstedt mfg. div.patent #1710570 made in USA) other years I don't know.

              My 61 hood support does not have any markings at all.

                  My '62 does not have any lettering but it does have some kind of what looks like welded/pressed on rectangular thingys. How about that for an explanation. They are on the engine side at the bottom of the top strut. Have no idea what they are for. Perhaps source markings?
