Teacher, my hand is up - both cams are solid lifters, sound the same mechanically (the "sweet singing" sound), and both have the same "bark" at idle; however, the "30-30" is a sorry sister to the LT-1 in terms of torque at normal operating rpm. My untouched original '69 Z/28 has the "30-30", and if I ever rebuild it, it'll get the LT-1 cam; nobody but me will know the difference
