I want to thank ALL the Executive for a Fantastic Regional. The Lowe's Motor Speedway was a great site. The Hilton had much to be desired with the elevator system not working most of the time.
The DEI day was the best. Driving the track was awesome. The meal at the Lowe's Speedway Club was most memorable.

I'll second all of that. I drove 900 miles each way with my car/trailer and it was well worth the trip. In addition it was extremely well organized including complementry lunch. Thanks to all that organized and ran the entire event.

Ride in Cup car at 180 was neat. Sound of cars on the track all week. We need more regionals at tracks. How about Daytona or Indy or MIS. Lyle

Excellent Regional, good work guys. I must agree with the previous posts, and the excellent weather helped. The only bummer was, like Gary posted the elevators at the hotel, but the excercise up the steps was nice only to burn off all the good food we ate. Hope everyone made it home safe and look forward to seeing you in Wildwood next month.

That was an awesome regional, but, that police officer surely took a dim view of me leaving rubber (only about 50 feet or so) and tire smoke outside the entry gate. Man, he was on the warpath the rest of the weekend after that. I was threatened with jail and impoundment. He must have been a Mustang fan.

I would like to see that become a yearly event. Kudos to the Carolinas Chapter.

Just typical Humphy's Gestapo. Most of them do have a sense of humor, but some do not. I guess if you deal with as many people as they do, you have a tendancy to get grumpy.

YES,...The Carolinas Speedway Regional was an excellent event. The Dale Earnhardt Inc. (DEI) tour was wonderful. You saw things that are off limits to the general public. Having cars available from the Richard Petty Driving School made laps on Lowe's Motor Speedway, at speed, even more fun. Things got interesting with the hotel having only one of four elevators in operation (not your typical Hilton). A few individuals from the Carolinas Chapter worked very hard to make the event look easy. Congratulations Carolinas Chapter!!!
