Yes, but I will not divulge it. The Corvette News article does mention his first name, but I will leave it to those who have that issue to look it up.

I talked to him circa 1987 after I sold the TI system to Burroughs. He still lived in the Pacific Northwest, but he was not involved in the vintage car hobby at that time, and I don't know if he was aware of the car's potential value or its notoriety within the vintage Corvette community, which has grown since that time. It's an old wound that I did not want to open up. He appeared to be doing well, and I let him know that I sold the TI system to Burroughs for installation on his former car.

------Jerome didnt get a title with that car when he bought it. He told me that Lincoln bought the car on a bill-of-sale, and the car kept getting passed along on a bill-of-sale all the way to him. He sent Terry C (you remember him) to see the original owner and procure a title from him. Im sure even at that early date the orig. owner was not in the best of moods as Terry was there for a whole week. Owner no.1 had to go back to the state as I remember and get a duplicate.
------There may be as many as two other owners between the Minneapolis owner and Jerome S as I believe Friendly Bob A had it as well as the guy Jerome shared his one storage building with. What a trail!.........Bill S
