CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IN EASY TERMS ... WITH RESISTOR IN BOLTED POSITON ON FIREWALL IS + OR POSITVE ON THE TOP OR BOTTOM ?????? THANKS RICHARD

Richard,

There is no top or bottom and no positive or negative to the resistor. When it is bolted in just connect the wire coming from inside the firewall to the bottom and the other to the top.

It will work--trust me.
