does anyone have any ideas to correct a directional switch on a 61 that does not cancel correctly and as a result you have no brake lights or only one side working . if the switch is centered every thing works. I cannot seem to do any thing to correct this problem thanks Steve
It sounds like your cancel cam assy is worn or your steering bell is loose on the column. If the hole in the switch is worn badly, just replace it. They only cost $25-30 and take half an hour or less to change.
