67 seats #?

Dear Members,
I just pulled apart my 67 driver's seat. I found a small, thin aluminum tag attached to one of the hogrings on the bottom. It is black, about 1/4" thick, and 3 1/2" long. The #3899201 is stamped on it with AMP on the top and a date ?-27-66 at the end. I have white seats with the original covers. Any help is appreciated! Thank you much!

So, what's the question? Your copy of the '67 AIM will call out PN 3899201 on UPC 1, Seats, Sheet J3 as the bottom seat frame. Another PN defines the back seat frame. To this the factory added clips, bumpers, burlap, foam padding, and the vinyl/leather cover to build as required completed seat assys. You'll find a similar PN tag on the seat back when/if you tear in to recover it....

Thanks for your help, you've answered my question. I see on page 122 of my 67 AIM, 3899201 frame asm. This car has been so neglected and Bubba-ized, I just though how cool to see the tag still attached. My obsession with my first Corvette is overwhelming. I just like to take things apart, write down #'s, and document with pictures. Thanks again!
