C2 clock fileing burned points

I have my clock out. It would run and stop. I understand the points for the winding mechanism need to be cleaned and filed. I opened up the back and can't tell where they are and I really don't want to take this thing apart too much more than needed. Anybody have a picture or can describe how to get at the points. thanks jerry

they really aren't too hard to find. I don't have a clock open right now for a picture, but if you look in the side of the mechanism, you'll find them. Look in from around 4 o'clock and you will see them. If you wind the spring slightly manually, you should see the points.
