clock lens - spare tire carrier 1965 coupe

I have a lens that need t be replaced in the clock. Can anyone tell me the best way to remove the clock lens. Lastly can anyone tell me the proper color of the fiberglass spare tire carrier for a 1965 coupe. Thanks Rick

Remove clock from dash, turn upside down and you'll notice 3 or 4 areas where the twopiece main body of the clock is bent over on one another. with a screwdriver, rotate the blade to uncrimp them. then seperate and replace the lense after you've removed the knob from the re set shaft(carefully). nows a good time to dress the points. good luck, mike
