Old Delco Cans

My neighbor handed me two white, red and blue Delco unopened "Cans" with a distributor and rotor in them. These Cans have draw strings that are used to open them. The numbers check-out to be a GM cap and distributor, my questions are; (1) What era are these boxes from? (2) Any idea if the distributor cap will have the "Delco Remy" embossed on the top?
