Re: OT: Seedy TV and Internet Journalists
I agree ! I already wrote CBS a letter of complaint. I intend to follow up with a letter to their sponsors. It's bad enough that the Arabs have an anti American newspaper such as " Al-Jazera" apparently assisting the terrorists, we now have to watch an American (?) news media slant their news stories also. No respect for the American serviceman! That same serviceman that allows me the freedom to enjoy my lifestyle and hobby! God bless our service people ... Just my two cents. I could be wrong. Re: OT: Seedy TV and Internet Journalists
Guys, I quit watching that old reprobate running the CBS news more than a decade ago for his liberal slant, and then quickly ceased watching NBC, and then ABC a few years ago. Try the Fox News Channel; "Fair, Balanced, and Unafraid".
"Nightline" will be presenting a program which reads the names of all 500+ American young people that have died in Iraq. I hope the result is honorable to the individuals and their families, because I am sure that ABC's motive is not honorable. It is, however, a better memorium than running down to Dover frequently to photograph their flag-draped caskets, or attending graveside services with their intrusive cameras. May the Lord bless and keep them.
"Indeed, I lift up My hand to heaven,
And say, as I live forever,
If I sharpen My flashing sword,
And My hand takes hold on justice,
I will render vengeance on My adversaries,
And I will repay those who hate Me." Deuteronomy 32:40,41- Top

Re: Steer your C-Band big dish.....
...sensationalize new 'entertainment'...
Ummmm...No, Jack, I'm talking about "Special Report" with Brit Hulme, not Bill O'reilly or that "Itchy and Scratchy Show", Hannity and Colmes, where they get a conservative dog and a liberal dog together, rub their noses and watch the fur fly. I can't handle those conservative and liberal shouting matches...it's bad enough hearing some of that 'stuff' at normal voice level.
I probably won't get around to the BBC; I still have the New York Times to try. (Yeah, right...When they're ice skating in Hell. )- Top

Re: Steer your C-Band big dish.....
I agreethat Fox news is the least bias. The 3 major networks are nothing more than a tool for the liberals. You can't begin to get a fair story out of any of them. I like to hear the news as it happened not as they wish it happened, but it is not possible with any of the 3 majors I also think Dan Blather is the worst and the other 2 are tied for second.

Re: OT: Seedy TV and Internet Journalists
CBS is the worst. They recently did a hatchet job on General Aviation security...you know, the 1200 pound Piper Cub going 80 MPH is going to knock over Three Mile Island. The GA guys wrote tons of letters to CBS and Anhauser Busch, the sponsor. It got their attention enough to write a letter to a GA publication saying the sponsor can't control the news. I guess only CBS can do that. I gave up on them recently, local and national. I've had all the "action news hairdo's" who can't read a cue card I can stand.
