'72 emissions docs

I just got some '72 emissions docs on an Ebay auction @ they arrived sealed in a plastic wrapper. Did they docs come that way? I don't want to break the plastic wrap only to find out I'd lose points.

There is only 1 Emissions glovebox piece for 72. It is a blue/white booklet approximately 5" x 8" and I believe it is titled Emissions Control Systems etc.(not at home to verify). It came in at least 4 or 5 different editions, all dated. It was inserted in the clear plastic glovebox envelope (unique to 1972) which held the Owners manual, POP, Consumer Info Booklet, Trim Ring Card, radio instructions etc. It's safe to remove it from whatever packaging it has recieved as it is not factory packaging.
