    Oil Pan Required

I have been unsuccesful in locating a correct oil pan for a '64 327/300. The new ones I find in catalogs are not correct, Paragon and Doc Rebuild used parts do not have one nor do the members that advertise parts in general in Driveline. Any suggestions (via e-mail if you want) will be appreciated. Thanks.
    Best regards,
    Charlie

J&D Corvette in Bellflower, CA may have a used one. (They have an 800#, but I can't find it right now).

      Charlie,
      J&D Corvette's # (800) 838-8353 0r jdcorvette&telis.org Also give Dave Sokolowski a call (310)329-5334, he's about 10 minutes away from J&D Corvette.
He has tons of original parts and very reasonable, just make sure you are specific about which pan you need and if there are any #'s are marks to help him identify. He has about four warehouses full of stuff and this would make it easier for him and more likely for you to get the correct piece.

        Charlie,

If you haven't been to J&D, they will let you go through their used part yard, with an employee, in search of the oil pan you need. It's quite an extensive yard full of rust-free original, used parts.

          Justin, Rob, and Charlie-----

There are no identifying numbers on Corvette oil pans. So, you have to obtain the correct one by reference to configuration alone. The pan that you require was used on MANY Corvette small blocks. Basically, all 63-74 Corvette small blocks originally used it EXCEPT for 63-65 with SHP, 70-72 with ZR-1, and POSSIBLY some early 1970 with LT-1.

Charlie, where are you located? I saw one at a swap meet in southern NH this past Sunday. He wanted $150 for it, but it was in pretty nice shape. If you're really tired of waiting (know the feeling), this would get you going again. It's a monthly swap, and I'd bet that at $150, he'll still have it and maybe talk price when I see him again next month. You are right tho. I found mine a few months ago off eBay after searching for a very loooong time. Everyone seems to have the 6 qt.
