Although my original glass is clear, can I switch to tinted(green) when I purchase repro glass in the future? What glass options were available to the purchaser in 1964? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1964 coupe's glass
John, since I'm the original owner, my question is, "If I switched from clear(all windows) to AO1-all tinted widows, what would be the point/points deduct in my restoration project? I honestly don't know which direction(NCRS or not) I'm going in. I did buy a Dewitts dated radiator and would probably buy the LOF dated glass. I guess I'm looking at comfort when I eventually get this car back on the road??????? Thanks again.- Top

You can go any way you want (all clear, all tinted, or tinted W/S only) with no deduction; there's nothing on the car to indicate what glass combination it came with originally, so any of the three combinations are "correct".- Top
