Does anyone has any pictures (or references to a book/manual) on how the hood wheatherstrip should be mounted onto the hood ?

Rob, section 11 Sheet 2 of the AIM shows it as being glued to the underside of the hood ledge. From a question posted on another forum (also un-answered) about a month ago, I gather that there is some confusion about the orientation of the rubber. Is that correct?

The hood weatherstrip for my '59 should arrive this week so I am watching for an answer as well.
