1961 Corvette

I own a Corvette Restoration Shop in Southfield, Michigan. I have a customer who owns a 1961 Corvette. The problem/question is: he needs a title history/lineage created for his Corvette. He knows the history from 1995-present, but cannot access anything more. The kicker is that he now lives in Germany with his Corvette and bought the Corvette from an exporter!!! I'm living in the Netherlands and had the same problem. The vendor of which I bought the car didn't help us much in our chase to find the previous owner and we were stuck in no time. Then I hired a firm via www.ustrace.com and they came up with two previous owners. Also I knew at one stage the car passed ProTeam so I found some additional info in the Ohio archives (via the www.dmv.org title search facilities). This way we were able to trace the history back to 1989. We are still trying to get more information on the car history. But if you are willing to spend $200 on a search US Trace might be an option for your friend!
