    DG Block for a '59

    I need an April build DG block for my '59. I've located one that is supposed to be the real deal, however the price seems high. What should one of these go for, and how easy or hard are they to come by? I want to have one by November of this year for a winter rebuild. Thanks in advance.

          Kevin - I would add...

          ... If you have found an original Corvette block that is dated and stamped correctly for your car with original broach marks, in a twisted sort of way (for pre VIN stamped engines), you have found your "original engine". Send the guy a check and let him fill in the price. (Of course, within reason, but no nitpicking here.) Best, Dennis
