    '66 BIG BLOCK REBUILT/PUSHROD LUBRICATION

Crane Cams includes in their assembly instructions a note not to use any assembly lube on either end of the push rods(stock type valve train) to prevent blocking the oil flow. Any thoughts on this?...

they might think that it could restrict the oil flow through the push rod if the assembly lube was to thick

Just get some oil on them when you put it together - assembly lube isn't necessary; they'll get oil when you prime the system prior to first-fire.
