Two C2 Starter Questions

Members,
I have two questions regarding the starter on my '65.

1) Is the starter heat shield P/N 3851295 still available from GM?

2) Is the aluminum nose-piece (that enters the flywheel housing) painted semi-gloss black as part of the starter or is it left natural finish aluminum? The JG doesn't specify.

1) The heat shield is long-since discontinued, but available in reproduction.

2) The aluminum nose used for 63-68 small block starters is natural aluminum.
