Re: 366860 Flywheel Delivery
Joe,
I got the flywheel, and it has the GM 00366860 Part number on the box. The casting number is 00366860, casting date may be ()269C? and it has a GM1 also cast in it. It weighs in at 24 pounds. My old, presumably original, has a different configuration, much heavier to the outside on the back side if that makes sense. It still weighs 28 lbs, even after being cut several times. I expect it will solve my problem as it measures about 3/16 of an inch thicker from the face to the back of the hub where it meets the crankshaft. I expect this is enough to make up the difference in free pedal travel. Tomorrow I will know for sure!! My question is would you expect the wheel with this part number to be that different from the original?
Thank you for you patience and assistance.
George
