What years did corvette's come with the vertical ribbed T-3 triangle?

The ribbed style T-3's were from 1968 to late 1971. My 71 VIN #16798 has the 72 style T-3"s, but I think there was a running change in late 1971, meaning some cars got either style and some got the 72 only style. In late 1971 and/or all of 1972 there was a 1 year only T-3 that had no triangle but had T-3 at the bottom of the lens. I believe Power Beams were introduced in 1973.

My '71 vin# 15065 has the 1970/71 style. The build date is Apr 20.

I'm guessing your cars build date is about May 03

That assembly date sounds about right. Interestingly when I had the car Bowtied last year, the T-3's were determined "non" original. As I'm sure they are original I should have pulled one and looked at the date. During Flight judging they were determined original as the 70/72 TIM & JG allows 72 style lamps on a "late" 71 car. The NCRS system is pretty darn good but not perfect.
