Help. I am in need of a rear bumper (urethane) for an 1986 coupe. Anyone know a source? GM has discontinued the part.
Also anyone have experience with "factory replacement" rear bumpers, made by Troy Tooling Division of Tech Star. They claim to have the orginal tooling and use the original materials? My concern is with fit of the bumper to the car.
when it comes to junkyards full of c-3 and c-4, this place is unbelievable.
ted becquet, near bedford pa just off pa tpk, phone 814 766 3623. good luck, mike
I'd avoid an 18-year-old used cover - the RIM urethane used in that era ages very badly, and becomes very delicate/weak with time. Would be a shame to prep/paint it, install it, and have it disintegrate soon after.
