    Gremlins in the wires

No, not American Motors types-but still ugly. While searching for a cause for a
C2 power antenna problem(up but no down; and no power at the down wire of the ant switch) I disconnected the turn signal harness to check the connections. Now, no turn signals despite what appears to be good contacts. The wiring diagram does not elucidate which contacts of the incoming side of the harness
should light up a test light and indicate measurable current. Any way to know this for sure? Can I assume any wire from the fuse panel or body connector
    should light up? Thanks.

    John -

If you have power out to the "up" circuit but none to the "down", the problem is in the switch or the connector.

The turn signal switch gets power through a 20-ga. purple wire from the flasher on the fuse block - should be at one end of the curved connector.
