1979 Corvette L-48 Heater Pipe Assembly

Hi,
We have a 1979 Corvette L-48 Two tone Silver we are restoring to NCRS specifications.
There is a Heat Pipe Assembly that attaches to the water pump and brackets to the AC Compressor braket. I have a couple of Questions I hope someone can answer.

We purchased a used one and need to know what the color of that Heat Pipe should be so that we may get it replated to the correct color. Second where on the AC braket does this Assembly bolt?

Third is to see if anyone has an actual picture of a 79 with this assembly on it.

We purchased the car and the previous owner had deleted the pipe and just run a longer heater hose. The problem with this is when it goes under the braket of the AC it gets kinked.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

It should be zinc dichromate coated a yellow/gold color, the lower ac compressor pivot bolt goes through it. If someone doesn't have a picture it will be hard to see since it is down in a hole under the compressor, there is a good depiction in the AIM, if you don't have the AIM get one from the NCRS bookstore.
