My brother in law got scammed on a 68 gt 500. He turned it over to the authorities and they said that the scams come from over sea. What will happen is he will pull it off e-bay before the auction ends and sell it to whoever sends him an e-mail. The english will be poor in the e-mail, but the "jist" of it is that he is currently over sea and he needs a deposit sent via Western Union to get back home to finalize the deal. My brother in law sent 3k deposit and that was the end. The next month the same car was on e-bay again. The funny thing is that the car (with the same pictures) was on some website for sale by the actual owner. He did not even know his car was on e-bay until my brother in law sent him an e-mail.

Just another internet scam proving that if it seems to good to be true, then it probably is.

              All,

When I'm intending to buy anything via e-Bay and it worth it bit more then $50 I always ask the seller to send me a picture of a minor detail to prove he really posses the item. At lease that give some insurance the deal is probably ligitemat.

              Just my 2 euro cents.

              greetings,
              Rob
