what exactly is the paint break? where is it on my 1978 silver anniversary edition? Where do i get the special silver anniversary edition paint?

The paint break refers to mid body crease line that separates the upper half color on the car from the lower half color. You might want to purchase a Technical Instruction Manual & Judging Guideline for the late sharks ('78 thru '82) years from the NCRS book store.

The best source that details the 78 break is the 78 AIM or Assembly Instruction Manual. It describes the paint break along with decal application...also available through the NCRS store.
