Intercity http://www.intercitylines.com are great. They treat the car like it's their own. The transport is enclosed and 65 feet long. It cost me $800 to get the 78 Pace I bought from Ill to E.H.T N.J (door to door).

I used Prestige Auto Movers in an enclosed carrier. $1000 to ship from Tempe, Az. to Richmond, Va.

I have used Intercities and couldn't be happier with the care they gave my car. They actually put a plastic bag over the car. It arrived in Calif from Bloomington clean and dust free. It was a husband and wife owner/operator team. Great movers. I used them once before with a different team, but the results were excellent.

Passport, Intercities, Horseless Carriage are all reputable carriers. I have met and talked with owners of all of the above and am impressed. Plus I think that all of them are also collectors of precious vehicles.

Reliable also does a top-notch job taking care of your car - have used them personally several times. I awarded them the contract every year when I was the Viper Plant Manager, based on zero-damage claim performance, professionalism, and cost, to deliver every new Viper and Prowler we built. If you think Corvette owners are picky, you should deal with guys that just shelled out $85K for a new Viper with show paint
