    C1 Package tray holes

I had to purchase a new package tray for my 60. The new one doesn't have the mounting holes and I don't have the old one. Can anybody give me the proper location for the holes or should I wait until time to mount it and orientate the holes at that time?

    Larry,
If I were you, I would not even attempt to drill the holes prior to mounting. I would install the tray and use a short pencil to mark the holes from the back side.

Do you mean the new one does not have any mounting holes? Or do you mean it does not have the two side holes? If it has the front mounting holes, I agree with John about mounting the front first, then orienting the side holes and marking them. I would be glad to measure the locations on my 1960 if it would help. Let me know.

When I was restoring my '60 I had to buy a heater cover. The heater cover had dimples where the holes should be. They aligned very well with the factory package tray. Maybe the repro package tray will have similar dimples.... Like the others have suggested I'd still sit it in place and make sure.
