ready to paint my engine-what about clutch and fly

I have my engine in the air and have some questions about getting paint on the clutch parts.

Should I mask off the clutch and flywheel?

How about the clutch fork? The AIM refers to the clutch fork but does not have a part number making me think it was installed before the engine got to the assembly plant.

Should the fork be black or natural?

    thanks

Re: ready to paint my engine-what about clutch and

The bellhousing was installed to the engine for painting, this requires the clutch fork to be installed prior to painting, also the lower splash shield, all was exposed to the engine painting process, although with variations in the degree of perfection achieved.
