Thanks to all who responded on this- especially Chris Hewitt, who has evidence to support the originality of the white paint. Even though we are talking miniscule points here, how does one, particularly a rookie like me, "discuss" with the next judge an issue like this? Do I correspond with the Team Leader after gathering some supporting info so it is documented somehow, or ????
Charlie,
Point it out to the team leader who is Chuck Berge. He's respondsible to update the TIM & JG. Don't think you car is an odd or questionable case, but think of it as an example that we all can learn from. Terry McManmon who is the former 70-72 Team Leader and a very interested 70/72 historian would be interested in your car in general too. I'm sure he would appreciate an opportunity to take a good look at your car at Windsor. Don't touch it until you are 100% sure of what you are doing.
