C2 65 washer pump electrical problem

Looking for some ideas on what could be my problem here. Windshield washer will not run when button pushed. I have jump the pump and it runs fine, so it's not the pump. When ignition switch is turned on I have power at the brown wire at the pump, no power at the dark blue at the pump. When the button is pushed no change. On the switch end the dark blue is on the single plug, with a black yellow and a black light blue on the double plug. I have continuity in the blue wire from switch to plug. But no power at the plug for the blue wire. When the button is pushed I have continuity from both termials on the double plug to the dark blue. Wipers work fine, switch is brand new, also harness is brand new also from lectric. This is as far as I got last night, any ideas on how the switch should work or what else to try to find where the problem is.
    Thanks Mike

      Mike -

What did you find/fix to get it working?

John, I'm not sure. I think one of the plugs was not connecting properly. The last thing I tried was taking the plugs off of all the connections and using alligator clips on all the connections. Grounded out the blue wire and it started to work. I then connected everything back up and its still working.

Axiom from an old friend and automotive genius —

BEWARE OF THINGS THAT FIX THEMSELVES

P.S. That old friend was responsible for a recall on the Graham Page auto in the '30s. Most embarrassing.

            Very True

It's been on my mind since it started working, that it's going to stop just when I need them. Mike
