    Crome Plated C1 instrument cluster

    I am working on a 1958 project car that has a lot of strange parts. One is an instrument cluster that is chrome plated (in great condition). I planned to paint it as I have never seen a chrome plated cluster but someone on eBay is offering one that they call a "rare option". Has anyone every heard of a chrome plated instrument cluster from the factory? If not I will paint it as planned. Thanks.

      Never heard of "any such animal". Probably an old custom modification. Chuck

          Maybe the E-bay cluster will sell to a Harley rider that is used to looking down at the guages and being blinded by the sun.
