Package tray specifics (62-340ish)

I'm ordering up a package tray, trim and mounting bits and will get it sprayed when repairing some other scratches on the car. Does anyone have the tech on whether the brackets and rivets shown in the AIM get painted as well? In other words, did these get put together on a bench then sprayed and installed, or were they installed and then painted with the rest of the interior? I hate to think about bucking rivets on a freshly painted piece, but if that's how it's done, so be it. (I presume the philips screws are not painted, but dunno about the brackets). Any pictures of this area would be hugely appreciated! Thanks-

Rob - I believe the dash cluster, heater cover, package tray and probably kick panels were all painted at the same time as the body and interior. None of these items were installed at the time. The cluster was perched up on the dash. Some of the other items placed on the floor. Rivets in place, no screws in place. Kicks without vinyl. At least those are my views... Best, Dennis
