      Thanks for the detail description.
After checking with gm parts online $103 + shipping) and local dealers (one somewhere in 562 area; $190), I opted to bang out my old pan. It actually looks quite good now, except my paint job needs rework. But better than wrong configuration.
I couldn't do without the help of this board and the crpl! This old spark chaser is untrained at laying under a jackstanded car (can't turn sidewys; move too far and my nose bumps into the oil pump), easy-outing Bubba's overtorqued 1/4 inch bolt remnants ...
By the way I used a couple of blocks of wood to hold one end of the pan up, while removing the final bolts from the other end - sure beat trying to hold the length of it at arms length under there.

Thanks Loren! No wonder I couldn't find a pan with that #. I picked it up at a local swap meet at a good price and it had that number written on a piece of masking tape on its side. Its been above my garage for better than 10 years. I'd better get it down and take a better look. Thanks again!
              Best regards, Jon
