'57 Gas Cap

' gas cap john can anyone steer me to a possible source for the nd design gas cap they're flat with integral formed ears have no valve or hole in the center just a rivet head and say not vented none of the usual high volume suppliers have it only the replacement with the welded on bent ears thanks john

re ' gas cap jack humphrey why not get the real mccoy instead of screwing around with repro stuff i'd find myself a nice local scrap yard that is open you shop strip the parts that specializes in older cars and dig up a correct original think you'll find the cap was common to other gm cars trucks of the era and you can simply blast and re plate an original i've gotten lots of straight axle stuff this way rad caps gas caps etc for fellow ncrs members stateside and abroad good luck
