Which rad cap is really correct for 67 sb

I need a new rad cap for my 67 327/300HP car without a/c. In looking in this forum and in the catalogs from various suppliers, some say use the RC-26 (15 psi) cap and some say use the RC-307 (13 psi) cap. Those who say use the RC-307 cap say that it was used on non-a/c cars like mine. I believe the judging manual says RC-26, but there is bound to be a reason many suppliers call out a different one. Does anyone know the definitive answer as to which is correct?

    Tim:

I would go according to the judging manual. John Pirkle can fix you up with the right cap. I also trust Long Island Corvette Supply for the most accurate parts.

RC-26 is the correct cap; if you can't find an original, Paragon now has an excellent reproduction - zinc-plated (not stainless), correct rivet and markings, large ears, etc.

Does Dewitts carry the correct repo cap in the RC-26 or should I stick with Paragon. I was going to buy from Dewitts at Bloomington.
