I need to determine if GM Part Nos. 3820483 and 3738505 would be acceptable A-Arm shafts for my early (#2396) 67 coupe. I sent a set of A-Arms to Van Steel to restore and did not check the shafts before sending. The A-Arms came back in outstanding condition with the correct riveted ball joints and bushings but with the shafts with the square boss bolt holes which I believe were discontinued in service in 1964 but continued in production until 1968 or 1969. The A-Arms that are in my coupe now have the rounded bosses.
